She’ll be playing Aunt Annette, dancing in the ensemble, and understudying two fabulously talented leading ladies, Jill Paice as Allene Hughes and Abby Church as Katharine Hepburn. Dana is thrilled and honored to be returning to Paris! Christopher Wheeldon’s AN AMERICAN IN PARIS plays Geneva, Switzerland, at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, during the month of December. Dana is delighted to revisit one of her favorite shows, and to spend the holidays practicing her French in beautiful Geneva while dancing to gorgeous Gershwin tunes!
Dana spent the summer on an epic travel journey, starting in Canada and Alaska before heading to Iceland and Norway! She saw glaciers in 3 countries, hiked a glacier, kayaked in a fjord, sauna’d and dipped in Arctic waters, saw volcanos from horseback, walked in a lava tube, ate amazing food, marveled at stave churches, learned about Viking history, took boat rides among icebergs and sea eagles , and saw the most beautiful turquoise waters! Now she’s home and missing her Duolingo Norwegian lessons (but she’s moved on to French… more on that in the next update!)
